About Me

I am a practising Textile Artist and Creative Arts Practitioner. I am a director of Lapwing Crafts and a member of Network Artists. I am also participating in the 2012 Art Tour.

Using vintage, contemporary and recycled fabrics and fibres I work in a diverse range of textile crafts which include:

Felt Making
Silk Painting & Paper Making
Textile Collage
Peg Loom Weaving
Freestyle Embellishing

At Studio10, Allendale Forge Studios & Art Cafe I aim to develop my textile work. I will have a range of textile-based products such as my felted jewellery and textile collages, as well as greetings cards, prints and more for sale.

I share Studio10 with fellow textile artist and tutor Pat Ashton-Smith. Pat and I have a love of textiles, texture, colour and form and our work really complements the other so this is very exciting.

Be Crafty Be Creative

Within Studio 10, I can offer private workshops for families and friends in a range of crafts and for larger groups we can work in the Forge's own studio workshop.
